We have joined the local people, pioneers of this region, and the Nahuel Huapi National Park authorities to organize, in a very exclusive way, tours in the High Valley of Ñirihuau River which is the habitat of the specially protected “Patagonic deer”, called “Huemul”.
Visiting the local gauchos fields we have the possibility to share their everyday activities (manufacturing cheese, shearing sheep or breaking in horses) or to know, between “mates” and “asados” (barbacue), the stories about how hard patagonic winter is when the “puma” stalks from the mountains. But above all things, this is an opportunity to enjoy this unexplored region between the steppe and the Andes Mountains, full of pleasant surprises for all of our senses.
